Christian, devoted husband, proud dad, entrepreneur, Navy veteran, dog lover, and friend to all. These are a few of the words to describe Kurt Horn, founder of Fleet Lending Solutions.

Few people will be able to look back on their lives and say they influenced so many through their wit, encouragement, and love.

He cared deeply about others and used his gift of benevolence on countless occasions that most never knew. He was the picture-perfect gentleman, opening the door for ladies, helping friends and family in need, and bringing a smile to strangers’ faces with his warmth and kindness. Whether it was the attendant at the grocery store, his fellow associates at his office suites, or the mechanic at the local repair shop, he took the time to get to know them personally.  Every day Kurt impacted others, whether through small deeds, or talking to them about Jesus, he truly wanted to have a positive impact on the lives of others.

Kurt was an entrepreneur at heart and started several companies. His last company, Fleet Lending Solutions, was his passion. He loved talking with customers and helping them achieve their business goals. In a similar way, he cared deeply about the FLS team. He wasn’t a boss, he was a friend.  He had an abundance of finance knowledge that he shared with everyone, even if they didn’t use FLS.  He truly found joy in his work and helping others achieve their dreams.  Most importantly, Kurt had that priceless gift of integrity. His character was unquestioned and he always kept his word. Kurt was a talker and he took time to get to know his customers, when he ended his call by saying, “My friend”, he meant it!

Kurt lives on in the hearts and memories of those who were privileged to know him. Fleet Lending Solutions continues on in his memory, serving others, and living out the core principles Kurt established: integrity, exceptional service, and commercial financial expertise.
